The 4th Edition of the International Conference “Education in the Digital ERA” will take place on July 24–25, 2025.
The event is organized by the Department for Teacher Training (DPPD) within the Danubius International University, in collaboration with:
international partners from Italy, the Republic of Moldova, Bulgaria, Albania, and Ukraine, as well as the Galați County School Inspectorate, Galați Teaching Staff Resource Center, County Center for Educational Resources and Assistance, and the Education Is Power Association.
The conference provides a framework for academic dialogue and research, aiming to identify innovative teaching, learning, and assessment methods adapted to the challenges of digital transformation in education.
The conference will be held in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and online participation.
All accepted papers will be published in the journal Didactica Danubiensis (ISSN 2821-4374), indexed in the EBSCO – BDI international database.

Danubius International University (DIU) proudly announces the successful completion of the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education’s (ARACIS) external academic quality evaluation for re-accreditation.
At the ARACIS Council meeting held on July 3, 2025, DIU was granted the “TRUST” rating at the institutional level, reaffirming complete confidence in the University’s compliance with the government’s requirements for the quality of its educational processes, scientific research activities, institutional operations, and academic governance.
This rating is a formal external recognition of the University’s continuous efforts to maintain and enhance high quality in all spheres of its academic offerings. Recently, the University changed its name to Danubius International University, adopting a new vision to become a model of a student-centered, diverse, bilingual, and global institution. As a futuristic-oriented institution, DIU enthusiastically embraces hybrid, AI, and technologically mediated pedagogical innovations.

Held on July 5th, the festive graduation ceremony of the Class of 2025 at Danubius International University marked a moment of profound academic and emotional significance. The event took place at the Sports Hall, where students, faculty members, parents, and university officials gathered to celebrate the culmination of a university journey shaped by perseverance, excellence, and commitment. The ceremony opened with inspirational speeches delivered by the University Rector, Dr. Steve O. Michael, the President of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Andy Pușcă, as well as valedictorians and faculty deans, all of whom conveyed messages of gratitude, pride, and confidence in the graduates' future potential.
This event transcended the boundaries of a traditional celebration, becoming a symbol of belonging to the Danubius academic community. Emotions were palpable in every gesture—from the joyful smiles of the graduates to the proud glances of their parents and mentors.
