The School of International Governance & Law and the School of Smart Education and Innovative Educators are organising, on 8 April 2026, at 15:00 (Bucharest time) and 10:00 (Brazil time), an international webinar dedicated to transdisciplinary methodology and its applicability within the contemporary university curriculum, with a particular emphasis on creativity and innovation.
The special guest of the event is Prof. Dr. Filipe Mattos de Salles from the University of Campinas (Unicamp), an institution ranked in the 351–400 range in the THE World University Rankings 2026 and 233rd in the QS World University Rankings 2026. Professor Salles holds a degree in Cinema from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (1994), as well as a Master’s and a PhD in Communication and Semiotics from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (2002 and 2011). His academic career includes teaching experience at FAAP, PUC/SP, Belas-Artes, Universidade Santa Cecília, CEUNSP, UFSCar, and Universidade São Judas Tadeu.
The webinar will examine concrete experiences of implementing transdisciplinary methodology within university curricula, the relationship between artistic creation and academic research, the connections between different disciplines, as well as applied models of pedagogical innovation in an international educational environment shaped by dynamic technological and epistemological transformations. The event is addressed to academics, researchers, doctoral candidates, and all those interested in the development of innovative educational paradigms.
