At the prestigious CONAF Leadership Excellence Gala, the“Award for Excellence in Leadership,” granted for the South-East Region of Romania to the President of the Board of Directors, Dr. Andy Pușca, stands as a professional and academic recognition of his managerial vision and of his essential role in strengthening the institutional profile of Danubius International University.
At the event, Dr. Andy Pușca was accompanied by the Rector & CEO, Dr. Steve O. Michael, the Vice-Rector, Dr. Alina Beatrice Răileanu, and the Director of the Department for Student Relations and Professional Development, Victoria Onofrei.
In his address delivered on this occasion, Dr. Andy Pușca highlighted the historical and community dimension of the institution’s development: “Danubius International University represents a community that began the construction of a private university 33 years ago—a process we continue to this day. We are profoundly grateful to our colleagues and students, past and present, whose dedication and trust have shaped this journey.”
These remarks outline, in a reflective manner, the way in which the institution’s evolution has been made possible through the continuity of collective efforts and through the sustained commitment to a coherent educational project, in which the contributions of both faculty and students have played a central role in defining the university’s identity over time.
