Green Week: Awareness and Prevention Among Students

As part of Green Week, Danubius College hosted a remarkable educational event, organized in collaboration with representatives of the Galați County Police Inspectorate. The central theme of the presentation was "Preventing Drug Use", a highly relevant topic that resonates strongly with today’s youth. The activity took place in an interactive and informative setting, offering students the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the risks associated with the consumption of illicit substances.

The Police representatives addressed both legislative aspects and the social and medical implications of drug use, emphasizing the importance of prevention and accurate information. The attending students showed great interest in the topic, raising numerous thoughtful questions regarding legal consequences, ways to identify drug use among peers, as well as methods through which they can contribute to preventing this phenomenon. The atmosphere was open and engaging, with the invited specialists encouraging continuous dialogue throughout the session.

This event stood as a concrete example of effective collaboration between educational institutions and local authorities, demonstrating that preventive education plays a vital role in building a safer and more responsible future for young people.
