Wednesday, November 24, Energy Challenge arrives at “Danubius” University.
The contest is organized by E.ON, being dedicated to undergraduates and master students all over Romania and is focused on developing their creativity through providing them with a setting where they can test their ideas and knowledge by building a real business. The topics of the contest are Green Energy, Energetic Efficiency and Network Optimization, Products and Client Services and Digital&Smart.
The rounds of the competition are the following:
Registration: October 25, 2021 – December 20, 2021
Presentation of online projects: January 10, 2022 – January 21, 2022
Semifinals: February 7, 2022 – February 11, 2022
Candidates at this stage will be welcomed in Energy Challenge Academy where they will meet some of the most important people in the Romanian Energy field, will receive guidance for their projects and will develop their professional abilities and soft-skills.
Energy Challenge Final: April 4, 2022 – April 8, 2022:
The total value of the prizes is of 32.929 lei:
First place - 3000 Euro
Second place – a vacation voucher of 500 euro/participant
Third place - an eMAG voucher of 1000 lei/participant
The participants can enroll individually or in teams of maximum four, whilst the projects must be in connection with any of the four main topics. Feasible, realistic and innovative, answering the market’s needs ideas will receive the most points. The projects should be designed as a business-plan that competitors will develop in two or three months.
