On March 24th, starting with 3.00 o’clock p.m., Phenomenal Woman Club is enriched with a new honorary member, Mrs. Irena Chiru, specialist in intelligence and security culture.
Dr. Irena Chiru is a professor at "Mihai Viteazul" National Academy of Intelligence and currently holds the position of President of the International Association for Intelligence Studies - European Chapter (IAFIE EC). From this position, Irena Chiru advocates and acts to strengthen the profession of intelligence expert through the exchange of good practices, dialogue and the construction of international knowledge networks.
In more than 20 years of teaching and research, Dr. Irena Chiru has dedicated herself to the scientific investigation of communication and intelligence analysis, being involved in several scientific research projects with national and European funding (CITY COP Horizon 2020, CARSMAND Horizon 2020, ESSENTIAL Horizon 2020, CRESCENT ERASMUS +, ARMOR ISF, EU-HYBET Horizon 2020) and signing as author, co-author and editor, articles and volumes dedicated to security culture and investigating the social perception of security, as well as the interdisciplinary configuration of knowledge management tools.
In recent years, she has been involved in projects dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion as action principles and practices that can generate progress and transformation in organizations and that go beyond traditional forms of diversity, such as cultural, ethnic or gender diversity.
This unique series of events aims to promote, communicate and amplify the influence of professionally fulfilled women, being designed to inspire both women and men who will become the leaders of the next generation.
